Mae Iesu Grist yn drysor mwy
  Na holl drysorau'r byd:
Daeth hedd a bywyd ini trwy
  Ei angau gwerthfawr drud.

Trwy ing
    ac angau chwerw'r groes:
  Fe dalodd iawn i'r Tad:
Ar gfyfri'r aberth mawr a roes,
  Mae'n gyfiawn maddeu'n rhad.

Mae Iesu'r Archoffeiriad mawr,
  Yn eiriol yn y nef;
Bendithion fyrdd a ddont i lawr,
  Trwy ei eiriolaeth Ef.

Mae'r iechydwriaeth rād mor fawr,
  Mae'n achub a glanhau
Troseddwyr duaf
    daear lawr;
  Gwnawn ynddi lawenhau.

Jesus Christ is a greater treasure
  Than all the treasures of the world:
Peace and life came to us through
  His costly, precious death.

Through anguish
    and the bitter death of the cross:
  He paid a ransom to the Father:
On account of the great sacrifice he gave,
  He righteously forgiveness freely.

Jesus is the great High Priest,
  Interceding in heaven;
A myriad blessings come down,
  Through His intercession.

The free salvation is so great,
  It saves and cleanses
The blackest transgressors
    of the earth below;
  Let us rejoice in it.
